Meeting of representatives of the NGO “Union of Dentists of Ukraine” with students of the Lviv Medical Professional College “Monada”
Today, the public organization “Union of Dentists of Ukraine” held a scheduled meeting with the teaching staff and students – future dentists of the Lviv Medical Professional College “Monada”.
During the event, the head of the organization, Candidate of Medical Sciences Yuriy Bun, presented to the participants the main principles, goals and areas of activity of the NGO “Union of Dentists of Ukraine”.
The Head of the Legal Support Department of the NGO, Oleg Malanyak, provided information to those present on the legal component of the activities of the dental community. He emphasized the indispensability of compliance with the basic laws of the state in the work of a doctor, and also emphasized the importance of legal protection for both the doctor and the patient regarding their rights and freedoms – both as a person and a citizen.
The meeting took place in the format of a fruitful exchange of views, practical acquaintance and establishment of cooperation with future specialists of Ukrainian dentistry. In the presence of teachers and mentors, the students were explained key aspects of the practical activities of a dentist, opportunities for professional development and support from a public organization.
Special attention is paid to the issues of practical training of young specialists, the formation of necessary skills for further medical practice, as well as the prospects for receiving practical and material assistance from the global medical community.
