Educational initiative of the Ukrainian Dental Union: forming a database of proven courses and lecturers
As part of building a professional community, the Ukrainian Dental Union has begun forming a single catalog of proven courses, master classes, and lecturers for Ukrainian dentists.
Goal
To standardize the quality of postgraduate education, separate truly valuable initiatives from commercially aggressive content, and give young specialists guidelines for development.
The focus is currently on:
implantology,
endodontics,
hygiene and prevention,
organization of private practice.
The work includes:
practicing dentists with over 10 years of experience, representatives of universities, members of the Union who already have international certificates.
The first 20 courses recommended by the Association are planned to be published in July. A public register of recommended lecturers who have agreed to have their programs reviewed and reported to the professional community is also being prepared.
